Avigdor Berlin has over 35 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industries in Israel and in the international arena. He held senior management positions in Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. ( IAI ), Elta Systems Ltd (a fully owned subsidiary of IAI) and served as chairman of the board and director in subsidiaries of Elta and IAI. In his last position, he served as an interim CEO and as VP of Israel Aerospace Industries International Inc., a US subsidiary of IAI Ltd., located in Washington DC, where he was responsible for all IAI Ltd. defense and civil marketing and business development activities in North America. Previously, he served as COO of Elta Systems where he led a company wide “lean initiative” program and the restructuring of the company. Over the years he served as the Director of Elta’s Advanced Technologies, Production, Logistics and Quality Assurance Divisions. He started his professional career as a design engineer at Grumman Aerospace Co. Avigdor holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York, and a Certificate in Advanced Management Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
